Welcome to John Fogg's (Marv's) Model Railroad
Thanks for visiting my layout website.

The layout is an N Scale model replica of trains running from Denver to California, and returning.  Construction began in early 2006, with some legs and benchwork from a previous layout.  There are over 60 buildings, 40 railroad bridges, and other structures.  Some were used from my previous layouts.  I am a member of the Santa Fe Railway Historical and Modeling Society.  Some of the structures are award winning model entries from their annual convention modeling contests.  Bear with me while I learn how to build this website.  Enjoy!

Two Santa Fe FT's carry this refrigerator train east from Amboy through Cadiz on the Needles subdivision.

The Canyon Diablo bridge was completed in the early 40's to double-track crossing of the canyon on the Santa Fe right of way.  The sun highlights the old bridge footings behind the existing bridge.

The Santa Fe interchanges with the Arizona & California Railroad in Cadiz, California.  I added dynamic brakes, and painted this classic Atlas GP - 40.

Rio Grande F-7's cross the Platte River with the Rio Grande Zephyr near Denver.  The engines were custom painted by Jeff Johnson.

(Right)A Santa Fe freight crosses the Crosley Canyon bridge, as Route 66 passes under to the town of Williams, and the Ash Fork water tower.
